Pricing for EditingDesk.com Services

Each editing job is different. After an initial, no-cost consultation, we will discuss project costs. Small projects may be billed by the hour, while larger projects may be negotiated per job. For these larger projects, a portion of the charges will be due at negotiated checkpoints.

Here are some sample charges, depending on complexity of the project:

• Copyediting: $20 to $40 per hour
• Book editing: $3 to $4 per double-spaced page, or approx. $20 per hour
• Newsletter editing: $15 to $20 per typeset page
• Nonprofit editing: $15 to $35 per hour
• Technical editing: $25 to $50 per hour
• Web page / web site editing: $20 to $40 per hour
